CoD and Diablo, I think.
They'll have a huge swathe of old(er) games ready to - maybe all the old CoDs in back compat. But whether it'll be as quick as today or just some time in the next fortnight I'm not so sure.

Yay I guess. It all got a bit boring long ago.
Cloud gaming can do one anyway, it's never going to be as good as running it locally. Handhelds are shit as well. I might just be old, but playing big expansive games when your view into that world is a tiny 7" window is a piss poor experience.

My game pass sub runs out in March next year... prob not going to renew and may sell my Xbox and just stream via Moonlight now that I've got a Steam Deck & decent gaming PC.
Felt like a great deal when I got 3 years upfront all that time ago but probably not £12.99 a month of value for me any more, that I could be spending on my Steam library!

Personally (I’m a XS & GP gamer) there is little to get excited about here. Diablo and COD sure but imo both are long past their prime and while make decent additional catalogue titles they are hardly ground breaking or exciting additions. Now if Blizzard pulled WOW2 via XB exclusivity out the hat… that might be something special!

Like Microsoft have paid for the names rather than any potential. I’m sure they got plans in how they want to utilise these IPs, and There is no doubting the prestige of the IP’s included in the deal, particularly COD, but everything else aside from Diablo kind of feels like old news. They had their day but the shine has gone. Even COD in many ways even if it still sells a shit ton. Crash, Spyro, Tony Hawk etc are relics of a bygone age. Overwatch could go either way, and I guess there is room to manoeuvre with Warcraft but again, both tainted. |

So MS have now confirmed that it's unlikely any Activision games will be coming to Game Pass this year.
Which, on one hand, is a bit disappointing, but I also feel like stomping your feet and saying "I want me free stuff NOW" is a bit of a dick move.
