He will stand up, give another sort-of apology, say he didn't realise it was breaking the rules and that they are getting on with important things that the British people care about. The opposition parties will complain at him, will tell him he lied and ask when is he going to resign. And that will be that. What will be more difficult for them is when the next fine comes through for him. This is the most minor of infractions and the others are going to be much harder to just dismiss as cake ambushing or colleagues having 5 minutes out of a hard working day. Oh, and as is obligatory for this thread, that Johnson is a right cunt. |

Are we certain there will be more fines for him? I mean, we know that legally, there should be at least two more, but the Met are a bunch of jobsworths who needed to be taken to court even to do this, so I'm concerned they'll go "But we fined him, what more do you want?!" re: the other incidents, despite them being worse.
