Ascension was kind of underrated, as I think fatigue after 3 main titles and 2 prequels began to set in. It is wildly unnecessary as we already had a couple of prequels but I thought the combat was at its best in that game. Faster paced, better combos and tougher enemies. It could possibly be the prettiest PS3 title available, but it's hard to say as GoWIII was a stunner itself.
