Looks like the iminent release of the PC version has been well received:
Excited for Friday - particular as CDKeys had it for £26. A shame it'll likely be 2026 before Ragnarok heads over 
I've only ever seen the start of the game played on PS4. Is there anything that would benefit a GoW rookie?

I've only ever seen the start of the game played on PS4. Is there anything that would benefit a GoW rookie? Google the plot of the other games. You could play it cold as it doesn’t back refer to the other games enormously but it would flesh out a *lot* of detail |

Took long enough, fucking hell
Just enjoy it. It took me three attempts to get its hooks into me and I'm not alone in that, so don't be mad if it doesn't click right away. It ends up being well well well worth the purchase

That was a pretty slick introduction: technically, dramatically, and in terms of game design. I think it's possibly the best looking game I've played on PC - both Cyberpunk 2077 and RDR2 are let down by their character models - and it runs incredibly well too.

I enjoyed my time immensely with it, great looking and a decent story. Then again I never played the earlier GoWs so I was fresh to it. That axe though, so satisfying to call it back. |

Starting it again today on pc, apparently looks amazing with everything maxed and playing it on an Xbox pad will be a much nicer experience, especially with Nvidia reflex as well.

Yeah, it's really good on the ps5. I only put it on to see what the update looked like and carried on right through to the end because it plays so well now. And, honestly, it wouldn't look out of place for an actual launch title.
