That was brilliant. Though Rog threw first away on the last climb and then third away when his wheel got chopped a bit and he sat up in a huff. Still, you know he’ll come back motivated and a touch more tactically astute next time which should make his rivals blood run slightly cold.
After 200+ kilometres the turn of speed MvdP managed to pull away from the others with when they were closing at such pace was remarkable.

Good to see Geraint leading the Itzulia ITT yesterday. Until Cavagna took 2 seconds off him. Then Remco beat Cavagna by 11, and Roglic took 5 from Remco 😹

Roglic off the boil in the Basque Country, so Remco leads — mostly by virtue of his TT. Final stage tomorrow is mountainous, so should be quite exciting with a number of riders in contention.
