No big parties. Never really go into New Year in a big way and this year will be no different. I'll just be spending it with my mum and one of my brothers. Will have a few snacks and open some form of bubbly at midnight (probably Prosecco). Believe we are going to watch Glass Onion in the lead up and I expect we will stick the London fireworks on at midnight.

I don't really have any plans, was invited to a small gathering at a mate's but I've been out with mates for the last 3 days in a row and I'm EXHAUSTED, apparently a few feel that way too. Other than the frankly terrible world politics of this year, personally it's been an alright year, nothing awful and nothing amazing but it's always good to take stock of what you've got, good friends, great family, financial stability, independence (for now) and finally finishing my 5 years of post cancer checks.
Here's to 2023 lads!

Quiet night in at ours. Having a Chinese takeaway, 2 of the girls are staying over at grandma's. Will chill and watch a film in a bit.
Should be an eventful year at work in 2023 with lots going on. Hoping to get our garage conversion finalized so we have a bedroom/sensory room for our youngest.

2022 was certainly an eventful year. For me personally, just the highest highs contrasted with the lowest of lows. Just a weird time for the world too, everything going on shadowed by issues here at home with cost of living and what's happening in Ukraine. It's a year I can't and won't forget, for good and bad. Happy New Year everyone and hope it's a safe and enjoyable one.
