It's definitely been an up and down year for me personally. Got to see my family and friends after 18 months apart, sucks that I had another Christmas here without them, work's gone well, had to get over someone which proved to be one of the most difficult things I've ever been through, met someone new who I thought someone could happen but she turned out to be the personification of a red flag But I did feel very comfortable in being single rather than going into a high probability deeply problematic relationship. Ahh well onwards and upwards as they say. Truthfully I would like some good news for 2022, but who am I kidding.

After feeling like shit for the last few days I'm looking extremely forward to getting hammered tonight. Got my favourite bottle of Amarone set to go and someone also bought me some Au Vodka Double Espresso which I've been looking forward to trying but I know it'll keep me up all night.

Interesting, I've got some Fireball whisky from a friend for Christmas so I'm definitely trying that tonight. I've pre bought some painkillers as I know tomorrow isn't going to hurt.

It's like a coffee liqueur, 30% though. My dad who bought me it seems to think it tastes like an espresso Martini.

It's going to be hard to top the NYE when I was watching a repeat of Pointless when midnight struck. Most likely I'll be by myself come midnight, and I'm perfectly okay with that. I can't even be arsed getting hammered, though there's a chance that could happen.
I'm not a NYE fan, mainly because it just feels like I've now got to to do the same shit all over again for another year.

I like vodka, actually I prefer spirits to over most forms of alcohol but I don't know if I could do coffee especially as I hate it. Now I've got to find out. |

For the first time in years I'm not going out for New Years - I've cut my drinking from 10 pints plus a day, to about 6 a week, so don't feel like getting pissed. So I'll indulge in something else while playing Civ 6 :-)
The year started out pretty shit - so much so that I didn't think I'd see another year. Thankfully with the blessings of the Old Gods and getting some proper help it's transformed it into a better year. I hope everyone's is a better year in 2022!

We'll play Mario Party with the kids and eat snack food all night, may even crack open the port I got for sauces but that'll probably be it. Got my Mums birthday skype out the way so not going to do much for the rest of the day until evening time.

What do I serve with the beef tenderloin? I roast it on low heat in the oven, so I can't make roasted potatoes at the same time.

More than 2 coffees in a day turns me into a hyperactive child. I've had the dead Man's fingers coffee rum, and developed quite a taste for it. I was up all night basically like Frank the tank from Old School wanting to go streaking and wondering if KFC was still open. |
