I see he's also a graduate of Trump's "Grab them by the pussy" school 🤮
Get ready for the inevitable "she said oh yeah once somewhere in there, that means there's consent and Giuliani did nothing wrong" BS...

Trump spokesperson Liz Harrington ranting and rambling on Channel 4 news.
Complaining that the law he’s charged under dates back to the 1930s 🙄

If you've not heard enough stupidity from Trump supporters, the Wednesday episode of "The News Agents" has one of his former deputy press secretaries talking absolute bollocks.

Chewy one: Would anyone accept a second and final Trump presidency if it meant Desantis would never get in? Honestly, I might.
I mean Ukraine would be fucked, US democracy would be confirmed as a farce… but again, no Desantis.

I think I'd rather have neither of them, on the whole.
I don't think much of Biden, by and large, by he's in a different universe to those two cunts.

I mean that would be the ideal. I’m just not sure if it’s realistic.
I hate Trump to the nth degree. But Desantis actually scares me. The one small mercy is that he doesn’t have the support behind him. Take Trump out of the equation and he might.

I think there's zero chance of DeSantis winning, so it's kinda moot.
Unless Trump explodes publicly or the Republicans suddenly grow a pair (never going to happen), he's going to be the GOP nomination and he'll stir up as much trouble as he can all the way to the election.

The only things that stop Trump being the GOP candidate is a bullet or his terrible diet finally killing him.
My preferred way of getting rid of him is he shanks a shot so badly it bounces off a tree and the golf ball hits his temple.

Too quick.
I'd like to see him watch everything he's "worked" to build collapse around him as he slowly fades away. Everything he values is taken from him as he helplessly watches, then slips away.

I can see DeSantis winning an election easily because he's much more insidious but I can picture hardcore Trump loyalists not being enough to get him over the line, especially if general Republicans are turned off and stay away.

He's not going to get the chance this time, short of Trump dying between now and the election.
If Trump is out of the running in 2028, he might have a chance and I do agree, he did look like a really dangerous, competent fascist for a while there. But I think he's really overreached, a lot of his Florida policies which were initially lauded have (predictably!) had deleterious consequences for a lot of GOP voters as well as the Woke Liberals and Immigrants they were supposed to punish, he repeatedly got his arse kicked by Disney in a very public manner and apparently, the courts have challenged some of his flagship policies and struck them down.
His flame is looking quite low for now and in some of the polling, he's only just in 3rd place.

It's hard to see Trump as anything other than a lock for the Republican nomination, and firm favourite for the presidency. Which... Jesus chainsaw-juggling Christ, that's depressing.
Nothing short of death will stop him from getting the nomination now; hell, even if he *did* croak between now and then, he'd probably beat DeSantis if his slavish supporters did a Weekend at Bernie's, and propped up his bloated orange carcass behind a podium at Mar-a-Lago.

Mental to think there's serious talk of a president doing his job from a prison cell.

You reckon Biden beats him again, or the Democrats pick someone else to do the job?

Well, as we all know, Biden stole the election.
But, speaking to American friends, most are fairly ambivalent about him. This includes friends from midwest and California.
I think they just get someone younger and fresher, without baggage. Maybe a cardboard box with a face on it.

I can't help but feel that ambivalence about Biden, or him stumbling badly, are going to be the US's undoing.
Really would feel much more comfortable if the Democrats had a stronger, or at least younger, candidate.

They're going to choose Biden unless Biden is incapacitated or dead. And they would be right to, because he has the best shot of beating Trump again.
I think, on balance, Biden is probably going to win. I wish I could be more confident about that, but my guess is that there are enough Americans who don't want to go back to the chaos years.

I think they will absolutely choose Biden, he will narrowly win and there'll be further Trump related unrest which they'll be too chickenshit to do anything about and we'll probably go around all over again in 4 years.
They definitely should start looking at younger, more representative leaders, though.

The incumbency advantage plus Trump's baggage should get Biden over the top, if he doesn't drop dead in the meantime. On the subject of DeSantis, he has indicated an (unlikely) presidential victory may see him grant Trump a full pardon, so Trump would be a free man and a dude who has wet dreams about The Handmaid's Tale would be the US President. Probably not a particularly compelling sales pitch to the all important swing voters.

Obviously there's no way to know, but I think this is Trump's last shot. Even if he somehow manages to remain out of legal trouble/jail over the next four years, the guy's almost as old as Biden. He has to stop at some point.
