You’d think for someone who’s do constantly in legal hot water he’s manage to keep a lawyer around for more than a few months. Next hearing not till December(!) apparently. Hopefully more indictments come tumbling down in the meantime.

How long do these trials take, usually? A long, long time. You are probably not going to see a verdict for at least a year, and then you have the appeals process which drags it out longer. |

It might be a way of differentiating them from the previously rumoured misdemeanors, which (I think) do not carry a prison sentence. It's also worth noting that they're only Class E Felonies, which are only one rung on the ladder above misdemeanors anyway. However if (if) he were to be convicted of all 34 of them, it might add up to fairly harsh sentence. That's just guesswork though, I have no idea if that's how it actually works.
