The cult of personality thing really is quite amazing. It's like the ultimate nerd fantasy, "what if I could say whatever I wanted to people, and I'm rich and powerful enough that the consequences wouldn't matter"

If he'd just kept his mouth shut and been a billionaire, he'd probably be fine.
Unfortunately, he seems to desperately crave the attention and really want to be famous, too. Which, coupled with the fact that he's a complete dickhead, means he seems to be quietly burning a good deal of goodwill from the public along with a fair proportion of his material (cough, sorry, his shares) wealth.
Couldn't happen to a nicer twat.
I look forward to his inevitable drunken rants about how he used to be someone and the Wokes cost him everything.

I'm always a bit weirded out when people tell me they're going to America on holiday. Like, don't you know what goes on there? They're all white though, so I suppose it doesn't affect them.

There does seem to be a bit of a dispute about whether she was armed or pregnant. Without watching footage of someone getting shot, I don't know who's right. I wouldn't bet against them shooting her while she's running away though, as that seems to be standard practice. |

It's pretty disgusting, but I doubt the thing would actually get enforced. Most of the culture war bills would get shot down by the courts, and Republican lawmakers know it. It's just red meat for their base.

All of it, all of it, feeds back to control moreso control of women's bodies so they realise where they fit in the hierarchy, control of minorities to make sure they know their place, control of education so people don't question things. I really see no difference between the American right of now compared to the Taliban, apart from hilarious belief that the American are more civilized.
