Well it kind of is, rotational aim assist is the worst thing to happen to first person games. Absolutely awful.

He might have been going for a “Knock Trumps stupid hat off without killing him” achievement. It’s worth 50G.

_@drakesmoke apollo Okay, Putin manages to win in Ukraine, takes Georgia, somehow avoids war with or defeats Turkey and takes Azerbaijan, somehow avoids war with or defeats China and takes Kazakhstan and the other former USSR countries in Central Asia. Meanwhile Europe has been doing nothing in response to this, or fractured completely, or... something? Have a slow response like they did with Ukraine, have a meeting about having a meeting, eventually arrange some weapons to be sent . Also Putin has the far left and the far right in europe which both like him to various degrees Not talking about European military intervention/support. I meant the idea that European countries wouldn't adjust their own security. That's not even what we're seeing today around the Baltic and much of Eastern/Central Europe, where most countries are rearming and increasing cooperation. Not all of us are quite as passive and feckless as Europe is often portrayed (particularly in anglophone media).
The far left/right cozying up to Russia isn't universal in Europe either. Certainly not the case for either here in the north, and even in Eastern and Central Europe it depends on what country and what particular parties you're looking at.
And you ignored the first bit. There's a lot of extreme things that would have to happen for any of this to have a chance of becoming reality.
Yet again, not at all saying we shouldn't worry, including about Russia and about conflict, but there are far more immediate issues. Climate change is likely to get much worse as a direct consequence of US politics, for example. The European thing that scares me most right now is democratic decline of our own making. If that doesn't change we'll be fucking ourselves over all on our own. Again, I’m aware of how nails Finland and Poland are. It’s not a binary success/failure thing though for me, every one of these military adventures ends up a tragedy for millions and whether or not Ukraine, Finland or anybody else bloodies Russian noses in an invasion, millions suffer. Agree, and I'm also worried about *some* sort of conflict (moreso about the Baltics than Finland or Poland). The instability is going to be bad for everyone regardless. But that's not quite "Ukraine being a stepping stone into Western Europe".

Don’t understand people with non-inverted controls, especially in first person. If you view the thumb stick as your neck, you angle it back to look upwards. The neck argument doesn't make sense, and I say that as someone who plays inverted. Anyway, it's not a matter of inverted or not, the guy needed some aim assist. Or maybe an aim bot. How does it not make sense? I could draw a diagram.

That way you can imagine you’ve got your hand on the guy’s head and you’re cranking it around Ratatouille style.

I've not seen this confirmed by the BBC yet but there's some reports that say the shooter wiped standing up.

It isn’t - as the motion to look left or right on a stick is not a rotation. Yes I understand that I don’t tilt my neck to my shoulder to look left or right. It doesn’t have to have a million per cent equivalence to make my analogy sick AF though. I hope none of you ever become pilots

It's ok. I'll just use the non inverted setting in the options screen.

When you pull down on a flight stick you lower the elevator. You don’t literally raise the plane’s nose.

It’s not my fault people use direct control comparisons of an indirect control equivalent like people who shouldn’t pilot planes.

Any control scheme is indirect if broken up into enough components. The head itself is not pulled by the neck, or for the non-inverse perverse, by some kind of unseen puppeteer. Synapses are fired, impulses sent, ligaments and muscle tightened or loosened just so, and lo, a head is raised. Or lowered.

Posted 3 months ago. This guy predicts Trump will get shot in the ear. Crazy coincidence! If the time skip doesn't work go to about 11.00. edit: 11:06 ... 666 seconds in!! I can actually see him leaning into the god angle, it wont be just this attempt on his life alone that will win the election, its what he does next.

The regular/invert Y argument may never be settled, but at least nobody plays with invert X.

The trick to Mario is to raise the controller over your head to make him jump higher, and throw your arms and body sideways for the long jumps. At least according to my mum.

There are several people with his name where he is from. I would wait before making any assumptions based off early information. Yep. Different person who donated the money.
