That first encounter took a while. Usually, first encounters are pretty short... but maybe the next ones won't take as long as usual.

Oh now we completed the encounter after an hour of being kicked, nothing dropped out of the chest at the end and we DC'd.

Jesus. It really felt like Bungo turned a corner when they absolutely nailed the launch of WQ. Had a sinking feeling when they just blanket disabled suppressing glaive, and now we're back to the the classic Bungo.
Telesto will probably break the game completely next...

This is going to be a nightmare with randoms. It's a bit too focused on trying to be a world first event rather than a repeatable piece of endgame content.
