I have the Xenoblade 2 Pro Controlller, which is similarly gaudy. I love it.

Hyrule Warriors DefEd and Xenoblade 2 are something like 450 hours on their own I think

With Splatoon and Rocket League alone I have clocked 1100 hours with my Pro Controller. Still holds charge forever.

The d pad was a bit crap on mine... fixed it by taking the thing apart and putting some tape over the contacts, believe it or not.
I had problems with it before in Street Fighter 20th Anniversary, and Tetris in particular.
They might have fixed it in the later hardware, but I doubt it.
Otherwise brilliant controller though.

What about the rear shoulder buttons though? I may be alone on this one, but I really don't mind that they're digital. I appreciate racing games lack that throttle control without them, but for every other genre out there it's better.

Wish they were analog of course, but neither are the ones on the JoyCons so it's not as if they're a downgrade from those.
I don't own a third party controller, but I imagine those wouldn't analog either right? I assume racing games on Switch don't support analog triggers since neither of Nintendo's first party games do.
Unless they support the Gamecube controller through that USB hub they sold alongside Smash Bros.

Unless they support the Gamecube controller through that USB hub they sold alongside Smash Bros. GRID Autosport does that, but tbf I think that's quite possibly the only racer (or even game) on the console that would need analogue triggers - and even then it's mostly fine with the digital triggers.

They're apparently announcing the Switch 2, Metroid Prime 4 and BOTW2 are out in time for Christmas and a new subscription plan with every first party title ever for £5 a month. Oh, and GameCube games added to switch online.

Not sure whether to play Splatoon until 4pm and watch the UK video, or just tune into the American stream in 20 mins.

quadfather - sorry, just a fantasy list that people seem to be regurgitating since the direct was announced. It's meant to focus on stuff that's coming out this year but will probably have a little sneak peek of something like BOTW2 (still coming next year) at the end. Sounds pretty likely that we'll get confirmation of the MP1 or MP trilogy and Wind Waker/Twilight Princess remasters which are all rumoured for this year.

There's already a lot of Zelda on Switch already, so I'm not fussed about those two ports. Personally, I could imagine Wind Waker getting announced, but not both of them.
If we get more Zelda, give me a Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks remake.

I still have a strong dislike for It Takes Two. So many better 3D platformers to play on Switch.

Octopath Traveller 2. I mean theblast one was 40 hours too long, but I could go for another. I like retro world maps too. Hmmm....

Why do I watch these things, I really hope this Pikmin shite isn't the sum total of what they brought Miyamoto out for...

Uh, and it's Pikmin 4 I mean I'm sure Pikmin 4 will be grand but come on, Super Mario Odyssey 2 or something if they're insisting on sticking with this underpowered yoke at least make it worthwhile.
