After a couple of months of unreliability, I can be on tonight if people are about. GT or Wreckfest (or a bit of both)

I vote GT7 only because I'm good in the Yaris and haven't upgraded my cars in Wreckfest enough yet

Well this update is a mess. FFB randomly resets steering angle settings and if you want to use the windscreen wipers it brings up the MFD controls. Want to change ABS/TC/engine map? You can but you will switch to rear view on each press of a button. Seems I'm not alone, for some people depending on what they have changed button wise manual gears results in looking left or right.

It must feel like playing on a controller but using a wheel now, I hated the controls in ACC on a pad and was very glad I got it via PS+ Premium rather than paying for it.

Bid dead in here... Anyway for anyone who wants 1M credits in GT7 very easily, fire up the game and go to the viewers campaign, the answer to the first question is Central/South America as Igor Fraga won by a huge margin today. Also go into the 25 year anniversary tab as well and you'll get a free car too. Road Atlanta, the Sierra Cossie and car selling were added to the game today as well, a very solid update.

And you can now sell your duplicate gift card - you all did that nsx duplicate menu trick whilst I was on holiday back in June?

I only did it a few times, should have done it a hell of a lot more, 100K a pop is nice but you can only sell one car of a type per day so those with fucktons are going to have a while to get shot of them.

Ahhh that may take some time. Thanks for the update I'll have a look as Atlanta is one of my favourite tracks in Forza.

Adriano Carrazza is the answer to today's question. Some of the racing in the Asia qualifier was absolutely incredible.

I tried the event at spa under the 25th anniversary tab and using the McLaren 650 gt car I didn't stand a chance at winning that event then it rained around 4th lap.

Question 3 answer is Porsche, I continue to be impressed with the GT World finals, Spa with dodgy weather today for the final of the manufacturers cup was great. New Ferrari being given away tomorrow and it'll almost certainly be the car that is used for the final of the nations cups.

I've sold all the cars I'm never likely to use in a bid to slim down the garage and give myself a cash injection. I do need to tune a few cars up though especially the ones I've yet to drive

The Ferrari VGT has a very odd distinct front that's for certain. It'll be a freebie as part of the viewer's campaign today. Viewer campaign question 4 answer is Miyazono, another great race today but to say it ended controversially is an understatement.

Did that race today, making it through the 4th lap with it raining hard was crazy difficult, you have to stay out till then though or you can't fill to the end of the race without stopping again. Went with the Subaru. Willow Springs with the Escudo was probably more annoying, any fuck up in any of the turns and you sail off into the desert. Twice I managed to mess up on the last lap (once on the final turn). It got a lot easier once I stopped treating it like an online race and started getting more aggressive with the AI.

There's something about the regular layout of Willow Springs that just makes me switch off. I've been trying to complete the neo-classic menu since it came out, put a lot of effort into the winning at the Red Bull Ring and Fuji with the weather and then with Willow Springs I lose concentration after a few laps and end up binning it.
The other two layouts are so much more interesting.

The other two layouts are so much more interesting. That's the one I've been trying to do tonight. I like the layout as it's fast and flowing but using the 787B I didn't stand a chance and that was without pitting. I got to around 4th and then the grip started to go around the last 3 laps. I did manage to win the manufacturer events though after struggling with the 650. That spa one I managed to build a 20 second lead, another lap on wets on a dry track and I think I'd have been caught.

It's been so long... Nice to get some racing in this evening, I'm still as slow as ever (at least when I'm not driving a BMW) but it was fun.

That's amazing news. I'm definitely getting the wheel back out now 😃 Can't make tonight but I'll definitely be up for weekly racing again, especially in VR.
