We made a game versus a team struggling in league 2 difficult.
This is mainly due to our wingers shooting at every opportunity and not passing to Hojlund. They have either been coached to do this (bad) or are ignoring Ten Hags instructions (even worse).

It really wasn't close, by the time they had scored the deflected blinder we should have been 4 or 5 up. Yeah it's a shit season and it's probably not going to get all that much better but let's not be overly dramatic. Some of you need to take a break from watching as it's not doing you any good. To be fair it's exhausting watching us play cause you have absolutely no idea how we're going to from minute to minute. We could play utter shit for 20 mins and then 1 min of brilliance followed by 120 mins of mediocre. |

Was always going to look a bit bad unless we hammered them, they are almost non league... The team didn't look great. Just the usual of looking like we play with no direction, no composure, wasting opportunities, not convincing in defense, playing a striker that never gets the ball, no subs, no wish to ever change the system.
Of course doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. We won. And almost definitely ETH will be gone end of the season. The man has lost 14 matches this season...

Football's an emotive sport at the end of the day and being able to convey that is a big part of it, otherwise we are just robots digesting a bunch of results and statistics. Unfortunately we're playing a lot of dross at the minute and that elicits a lot of negative emotions. Fortunately outside that 2 or 3 hours every week I give very little thought to the fact we're shit. It's really not a big deal.

It's just the same posts on repeat though every game. Antony got moaned about yesterday despite a goal and assist. I get he is a frustrating player.
Clem used to get loads of shit for Mctominay and Maguire posts but the people slating him for it back then are doing the same thing now.
What I'm trying to say is you are all turning into Clem.

And I'm normally with you that the negativity goes OTT but it was warranted yesterday. The league 2 manager even made tacictal tweaks that ETH didn't respond to. Just played the same way until the fitness levels and quality of PL showed over a league 2 side rather than changing the game.
