Bruno G showing some very nice footwork and theatrics all in the space of 30 seconds. Quite why he feels time wasting is a valid tactic at 2-0 down in the last half hour of a final. In fairness he did catch his studs in the grass and turn his ankle over. It probably smarted abit. |

Fucking delighted at that. Definitely looked sluggish from midweek but ground it out well. Never thought we'd get anywhere near any level of trophy this season after last year.

Felt like we played very well for the first half an hour then were picked off by the first goal, unfortunate for the second and never looked like getting back into it after that.
Thought Karius did well considering all the negativity around him. Midfield solid, defence ok, forwards all anonymous. ASM really gave a lesson in why those Spurs rumours were obviously bullshit with his deadend dribbles today. Even in the final 30 minutes when we had nothing to lose no one wanted to actually take a shot.
Well beaten in the end but after 24 years away from a final it was nice to be back and not disgrace ourselves.
