I got bored of Gris as well. Just really slow and there's not much to do. Just not really a fan of arty platformers. Looks like there's things to kill in this one though so might be alright. Hopefully she gets some guns. Or the wolf gets some guns

Nitro Gen Omega is a tactical RPG looking very much inspired by anime and Studio Trigger especially (Kill La Kill, Gurren Lagan) Hard to tell what the 'actual gameplay' is in any of that |

I wanted to like Gris, it looks lovely but I got a bit bored and never finished it. It's not even a long game. It looks very good and it keeps switching up the gameplay and provides a good amount of variety. The challenge of some of the puzzling/platforming later on was relatively high and it felt like it outstayed its welcome by an hour or so.
Personally I didn't like the music much. It seemed quite generic and like exactly the kind of cliche that you'd get for something like this.

Another here who got bored of and gave up on Gris. And I happily play walking sims and VNs... It just felt dull and bland.

Tempted to get that despite all the annoying voice overs.
Looks like Unknown 9: Awakening is the latest game to flop. Less than 290 sales on steam.

Oh that game with the terrible name I always forget. I did see that they were also making a multimedia franchise out of it. Books, comic, podcast series. Doing that all before the game even comes out is...brave

'Love letter' is an understatement when they're copying graphics and sound effects, especially when Crash and DK are both still active series. It's not a spiritual successor situation. Seems kind of lame

It seems to be getting a lot of promotion on gaming websites. As in advertising. There’s a big marketing push for this game. But yeah, it doesn’t look so much a homage as it does a clone (for lack of a better word). All the best to them, though.

Very much a old-school Crash/Kong game. Looks alright, VA is.. present.
Controls are a bit on the sensitive side and resulted in some annoying deaths.

Played the demo for Romancing Saga 2 and quite liked it. Actually threw me for a loop at first because visually it looks pretty similar to Visions of Mana. But where that game is action RPG based, this is turn based combat. Pretty ok from the opening hours, combat was fun, can def tell it's a remake of an old game with town areas looking pretty samey. But playing Metaphor atm so have no room in my heart for another turn based RPG.

New Virtua Fighter confirmed just pretty casually. No trailer, not even a splash screen, just part of an interview. I'm absolutely buzzing, VF is my fighting game series, I love it. It's so....pure? I can't imagine the new game having something like a rage art super move or super charged mode you can enter in like Tekken. But then to attract the audience it probably will? Still, I'm super excited, even if it does sound like it'll be a while before we get it.
