Never watched darts before about ten minutes ago. Watched Fallon lose to some guy called Steve. I can see the appeal, it’s just so fast, no pauses at all, just properly relentless. That room looks like the worst place in the world to be though. The crowd is comprised exclusively of the worst people imaginable. I stand by this post from two years ago. It’s a great watch, but the world would definitely be a better place if the venue spontaneously combusted. |

When my kids were in nursery I’d walk down to meet my wife at ally pally train station with the scooters at 6 every evening so we could push them back up the hill, this time of year it was a constant stream of pissed lads dressed as princess peach looking at me like I was the crazy one for carrying two kids scooters

Delighted for Humphries. Goes against the grain but I really wanted him to win that. He's an excellent ambassador for a sport that gets looked down on. Littler will be back, I'm sure he'll be in the Premier League next month. Big future for him if he keeps that head on his shoulders.

Yeah the way he's come back from that is great to see. Shifted a ton of weight over the last few years too. A really positive story as darts grinds a lot of people down in their personal life when it doesn't work out.

I have zero interest in darts but that was very impressive, mainly the final two darts with the added pressure of that perfect finish. As impressive as a 16 year old looking 35.
