The two times I remembered "ah yes the darts is on, I'll watch a bit of that" this year and turned it over, Price was playing, so I turned it straight off. Was glad I remembered to tune in last night though, that was amazing, I like both Smith and MVG so it was always gonna be a good night! |

The pub by me had the championships on the box and perhaps most importantly has accepted me into their darts team. I think mostly because of my British accent after Littler's domination.
I'm not great by most standards, but I'm decent enough to get a few 140s per round which puts me in the upper percentile of people I play against. I have a complete inability to hit any of the doubles on the lower half of the board sides though, so it puts a debilitating crimp in my endgame but it's decent wholesome fun.

Young lad is fantastic but I do worry for his long term health when he's on the proper tour next year. He's already fucking massive at 16 and I have it on good authority that he's already on the pop at events. The only other thing that could stop him being a force is how he handles defeats. Sooner or later someone like MVG will paste him and that's where you start seeing the up and comers confidence falter.
