I checked out page 91 and there was no Charlotte Church. What a con!

Mint Choc Pringles? WTF!?
I too found no worthwhile bottom action on p.91. A bit like p.3 if The Sun nowadays… disappointing!

Jaffa Cakes are best dipped into ice cold milk. Might be my actual favourite thing in the whole world.

I don't like chocolate orange stuffs as a rule. And whilst we don't routinely buy jaffa cakes, I do quite like them. I don't really know why.
Mint chocolate is, errrm, mint though.

I've never had battenburg You need to fix that. Just make sure it's a proper full size one, not one of those Mr Kioling minis - their ratio of cake to marzipan is all wrong.

Battenbergs are unattractive in colour imo.
Coffee and walnut cake is probably king of the cake stand for me. Or a sharp lemon drizzle…

Lemon drizzle or a classic victoria sponge (sans buttercream) imo.

Lactose free milk has been a game changer round our way. The girl is like 60% Bourbons and was absolutely bereft when she couldnt dunk them in milk anymore. We tried all the alternatives but nothing stuck until we got some Arla in (thankfully Bourbons are actually milk free as are oreos, so go nuts). Thats not very unpopular.... uhm.... Hob Nobs are overrated. Biscuits are about their simplicity and the ability to smash half a packet in two minutes. Hob Nobs insist upon themselves.

Wagon Wheels were revolting and people who claim to have liked them are either lying or have malfunctioning taste buds.

The best cake I ever ate was a Finnish smorgastorte (yes I know that's Swedish but I can't remember the Finnish word for it) - basically a cake made of layered white bread, cream cheese, salmon, dill, etc, but you know, in cake form.

They had one at a wedding I went to in sweden last year instead of canapes. A sandwich cake is pretty genius, tbf.

They do something similar in Belgium, they call it a pain surprise, basically a massive loaf, hollowed out, the insides then filled with tiny sandwiches and the lid popped back on. Very popular for leaving dos. But not a patch on a smorgastorte.

South African Bunny Chow is a good bread meal. A hollowed out load of bread filled with curry.

South African Bunny Chow is a good bread meal. A hollowed out load of bread filled with curry. That sounds excellent. I think the Aussies are onto something too with their mince on toast. Saves all the hassle of cooking pasta.
