Had no time for Suede myself, but Pulp and Super Furry Animals were just chucked into that category when they were far more than just post-Smiths acts. |

Britpop was a fairly meaningless term. It seemed to cover everybody form the UK in the last 90s. Weren't even the fucking Spice Girls included?

ETA If you think a William Shatner-themed AI reading the lyrics to Common People without any regard to the expression or rythmn of the original song, covered half way through by a bargain basement Smash Mouth impersonater singing with a bit more verve but no more subtlety is better than the original then I suppose you could claim to be correct. Otherwise, it's a bit shit. And I'm not a huge fan of Pulp anyway.

Britpop was a fairly meaningless term, it was just that UK guitar bands of the mid-'90s sounded especially British after the horrors of grunge. Radiohead are essentially Brit-prog, and like most prog are often tedious and not nearly as clever as they are thought to be. I've been listening to loads of Pulp lately and they're top. House of Love too, although they're more '80s indie or something.
No fruit goes with meat, nor any other savoury food. In fact sweet and savoury should not mix much if at all. I recognise that some combinations may taste good in the moment, but it is ultimately a dangerous path to walk. Pineapple on a pizza or apple with pork may seem fine, but where does it end? You'll soon be having a slice of cheesecake with your roast beef, or putting icing on your fish fingers. You end up living in a world without any meaning, where morality is completely subsumed by your most sickening perversions. You are dipping corn chips in Nutella, and stirring hundreds and thousands into your gravy.
