Oh lord did we go down an early 2000s "what band is on shit Sky digital music channel" rabbit hole? Post-britpop indie was, largely, poor shoegaze until Libertines came along and then everyone wanted to be like them. The Strokes though are still one of the bands of that era that I still really like. But yeah if you want to go through some by the numbers bands of that era you got Scouting for Girls, Hard Fi, The Pigeon Detectives. Ha, I just remembered The Ting Tings. That was a wild ride of a time.
