I do like pre-Isbell Truckers too - Decoration Day is right up there for me too, and Southern Rock Opera is a brilliant concept album. They've definitely dipped since the Isbell days though, but every album since does have some vintage moments. Agreed. I think SRO is my absolute fave, followed by Dirty South, Decoration Day and Brighter Than Creations Dark. Damn, I really need to give Decoration Day a listen soon, love that album. |
