On the other hand, you’d think she knows more or less as much as him which does pour water on him being suicided. Although "look what happens when you can't keep your mouth shut" also works. Maybe she'll magically fall off a boat and go missing like her dad.

I did notice on the Queen's speech this year, which I watched with morbid fascination for the first time in forever, that they ran a little montage of all the lovely royals. Phillip, Charles, the other daughter, William and Harry and the princesses.
No Andrew, though.
Felt a bit pointed.

She did call him a sweaty cunt which I didn't expect. Thought he didn't sweat.

What’s the deal with headlines/stories like this? The bbc seem to be having an absolute shocker covering this story:

At some point though, naming names of fellow abusers could get her a lighter sentence, now or later.

Yeah, probably not when that list likely contains former Presidents, Supreme Court judges and Stephen fucking Hawking. Everything is as exactly as it seems but I doubt we will ever know the extent of it.

It's all very well suggesting that she might name names, but surely it's a question of whether she has access to the evidence that Epstein had? If she can't indisputably prove anything she might allege, it's all rather moot anyway.

I find it odd that in response to any communications about sexual abuse between him and Epstein, the lawyers have said it's "overbroad, burdensome and oppressive”.
If someone asked me for something like that, I'd just reply "there isn't anything". Saying "it'll be a real burden for me to get back to you on that unless you narrow down what exactly you mean by sexual abuse" would end up with me expecting to be in prison for some time. Maybe I'm misunderstanding.

By that he just means it'll take some time for the royals to find a doctor who they can bribe to confirm this ailment.

Call me cynical but it feels more like who does she know that can act as sacrificial lambs that isn't someone with a ridiculous amount of power and would never prosecute.

Maybe, but is there any value to that? I can see why from a prosecutor's point of view, they might be interested but if it's only minor names, is there any value to her? It's unlikely to get her much consideration... and she'd still need to have access to the evidence.

My tin foil hat is saying that it's all a show and dance for the public because she obviously fucking knows powerful people involved in this, I mean her dad was Robert Maxwell. There's no chance of anyone like former Presidents or CEOs of billion dollar corporations getting done here.

I think that the chances of anyone else actually being prosecuted is a nice round number. But it's good imagining Andrew continuing to squirm, the entitled twat.

I saw a clip of it on the news. Just keep quiet, m8, Christ.
‘She may have had a 30 year relationship with a known sex offender, had multiple people accuse her of grooming and sexual assault and have eventually been convicted of a series of sex offences but I don’t believe she did those things’.
Man, shut the hell up. At this point you’re lucky for people not to be calling for your whole bloodline to be erased.

At some point though, naming names of fellow abusers could get her a lighter sentence, now or later. I mean, I think we saw a good illustration of what happens if there's a significant possibility of you naming names on this. You "commit suicide" and there's an incredible series of "unfortunate events" that allow that to happen (even if it was a genuine suicide, it seems like there was some intentional neglect involved there). Maxwell probably understands that snitches get stitches. If she names anyone it will very strategically be relatively unimportant (i.e. ones without power or further info of their own) or dead people whilst continuing to deny anyone important was involved.

I can't bring myself to click on that, but the URL itself is just nauseating. What a vile publication.

Its just the Prime Minister’s sister defending the child-sex trafficker he’s been friends with since university. Perfectly fine and normal.

The Spectator in general is almost impossible to believe as real these days. It's like something Private Eye would make up. An implausible celebration of mindless privilege and let-them-eat-cake-ness (is there a word for that?). That bit of straightforwardly heartless aristocratic blather is just par for the course.

What is this fetishisation going on with all the press over Maxwell and Epstein, they've been plastering their faces canoodling all over the place like it's the front cover of Heat magazine

Is it even really a "conspiracy theory" at this point? It's more like a pretty basic belief that a crime was committed. It's a bit like saying it's a "conspiracy theory" that there was a party at 10 Downing Street when the restrictions were on. Or rather multiple parties. And that the cops won't investigate because the Met is basically property of the government by way of Cressida Dick being an overpromoted incompetent (long history of fuck-ups) toofer who will do literally anything to keep her job.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding. It's a sandbagging tactic. As I understand it, and I'm not a lawyer but do work on civil court cases, the court has to consider the submission that the discovery request is too broad. Giuffre's lawyers will have to provide their submissions as to why it's not and/or refocus their request. It all takes more time and money. Just saying 'there isn't anything' isn't an option as even if true you still have to provide the documents.

Loving the idea that Andrew can't find a single person who remembers him visiting a Pizza Express (not even the people he was with apparently.)

Eh, not really. You could pretty easily spin it as "two overworked guards didn't pay attention, fucked up, then tried to cover their tracks so they wouldn't get in trouble". Though on the other hand, they do look pretty shifty in their court pics. The cold-blooded murderers.
