Its a crime that she gets her own show and The Legion of Rock Stars just get views from me and the long suffering people I send the videos to

It's Colleen Ballinger. You know. Colleen Ballinger. Is she mates with Ronnie Pickering?

She did an episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. It was obvious Sienfeld had no idea who she was, begrudged that she'd been booked, and thoroughly disliked her. Also I seem to remember he only half cracked a laugh once

I'm just confused. The guy I leaned out to kiss has never even heard of this place. Didn't complain mind. I mean, you wouldn't, would you? *cries* 😁

I think this what Russell Brand used to say at the end of a show. I'm amazed nothing has come out about him because stuff most likely exists. Also I think Matt Healy of The 1977 does this, asking if anyone wants to kiss him on stage, it's still really skeevy. I rather enjoyed N Gallaghers (the lesser cunt of the brothers) “Slack-Jawed fuckwit” insult to Healy recently. I don’t mind a few of the 1977s songs but I watched part of their set for Radio 1 and it was some of the lowest energy dogshit performing I’ve ever seen. He just looked like he absolutely didn’t give a fuck while swigging out a champagne bottle. People came to see you, dickhead, make the effort.

Why are we all saying the 1977, it's the 1973.

Why are we all saying the 1977, it's the 1973. We're all wrong, because we're old. It's the 1975. We should just say, "you know, that bad, The 70s".

Nah, The 1975 doesn't even make sense. That would be a terrible band name.
I'm pretty confident it's the 1973, I know a guy who thinks he saw Michael Healer on the tube so I think I know what I'm talking about.

I think it's showing an appropriate level of disrespect to the beige-est of beige bands ever.

I always get Matty Healy from The 1977 mixed up with Matt Heafy from Trivium.
Something tells me the latter would not approve of this tendency.

Regardless of me not knowing who she is, Jerry Seinfeld is a miserable, unfunny bastard most of the time. While I don’t really agree, there’s a video which might make you appreciate him more. It’s a ‘stand up round table’ talking about ‘the craft’ with him Chris Rock, Ricky Gervais and Louis CK (I know) and the Americans pretty much spend the whole time agape at how unfunny Gervais is. It’s absolutely excruciating but it does make you realise how much Seinfeld cares about what he does.

It’s an interesting watch but yeah, Gervais is utterly excruciating and it’s deeply offensive he was even allowed near that group.

Watched some of it, doesn't seem that bad although I can sense a tinge of awkwardness when Gervais speaks and it's very, very, very clear Seinfeld doesn't have time for him, like it's very obvious he's tolerating him. It's also interesting that Louis only looks at Seinfeld. I don't attest that he doesn't care about the craft but I still find Seinfeld unfunny.

The person or the show?
I’m just trying to gauge the appropriate level of hate here.

Pretty sure Seinfeld and Gervais are kind of friends.
I like Jerry. Sure, he's the Michael McIntyre of the day, but I think no one was doing that kind of thing back then. At least nowhere near as polished or confidently as Seinfeld.

The Netflix documentary about his joke books is a good watch. For someone as huge as he’s been all this time he still puts the work in even when it’d be easy to slack off or get writers in to ‘collaborate’*
* if you can bear watching him its interesting to watch Jack Whitehall’s last couple if Netflix specials and compare with Alex Edelman’s stand up. Alex clearly kept all the A material for himself when he was ‘helping’ Jack.
