As a grown man, I don't think she's all that hot. Quite a blande barbie type that feels very retro now. But teenage me would have been all over that shit.

It wasnt just Pam, Baywatch made that Pneumatic Playboy figure a pretty universal beauty standard. Its not aged well because it was a trend, like most other things, like looking back a the 2000s and seeing everyone in low rise jeans with poker straight hair and no eyebrows.

I won't judge. Apart from anything else, (as previously mentioned) there's photos of me with short, bleached blonde hair and a mustache. I mean, there's worse ones from the 80s teenage years (probably), too. But it wasn't a great couple of decades there, style wise. Tbh, I find the suddenly popularity of "retro 90s style" quite disturbing. At least no one's really going back to the 80s, that I've seen. |
