There’s been a few pop-punk adjacent bands got themselves in trouble recently. Men in their 30s with teenage fanbases.
I think we’ve already had a few comedy names like that in this thread.
I actually watched the full Katherine Ryan interview with Louis Theroux last night and its not as sensationalised as the headlines made it sound. None seem to get into that she called the predator out for it during the taping (but none made the edit) so presumably somewhere out there are the rushes from something like an 8 Out of 10 Cats, HIGNFY or Big Fat Quiz of The Year featuring her doing it. If she wasn’t on tv so often it probably wouldn’t take loads of cross referencing to have a solid guess. Especially with Pascoe having said similar about someone who appears to be the same person.
If they’re as rich, powerful and lawyered up as is implied then maybe Jimmy Carr needs to tell a “joke” about them. He’s got to be one of the few who’d be in a position to know and who has the finances and reputation to survive the fight.

A colleague told me years ago about his friend working at belmarsh, said Del Boy was the name that consistently got mentioned by the inmates. Can’t think of many others as high profile as him

Yeah, the timeline is pretty grim.
He invited him to the studios for a 'tour' when he turned 18, Schofe was like 50 at the time, and then immediately got him a job as a runner. They had quite a public argument at work and soon after he was forced to come out as a Male Gay because the boyfriend went to the Mail to spill his guts.
They made other staff sign NDAs and everything.

Damn, Schofield didn't occur to me.
Giants that might be considered untouchable whom I can think of are Stephen Fry, Rowen Atkinson, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Ben Kingsley, Anthony Hopkins, Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Gary Oldman, Malcolm McDowell, Michael Gambon, Jeremy Irons, Daniel Day Lewis and so on. That is absolutely not to say I suspect one single one of those legends to have done anything untoward, but it wouldn't surprise me if they weren't protected from on high if they did.

Schofield is a wrong un, he groomed Matthew mccreedy from being a young lad then got him a job at 18. Everybody knew they were an item including Schofield’s manager wife. Then it went pear shaped and brave Philip ‘came out’, so strong….
