Some conspiracies simply don't have a reason why they exist. I mean wtf is flat earth about? Aside from the fact evidence and mere common sense can easily debunk any of their mindless theories, the simple question is why? Why is there a global cover up that pretends the earth is spherical when it's is really flat? For what purpose? Who would benefit from that? Nuts! So that any alternative narrative can be devalued by calling it a conspiracy theory and people's brains link the given narrative with conspiracy theory = flat earthers = insane. At least that's my take on it.

For me a conspiracy theory has to have at least some sort of motive for it to be even slightly plausible. I mean I can buy into the idea of a faked moon landing for instance, because I can see why the US would want to beat the Soviet Union to the moon. That said I believe they did actually do it because all of the apparent proof of a fake doesn't stack up and if Russian intelligence had even the slightest incling it was faked I think they'd have let us know. Nuts! The Dunning–Kruger effect explains most of it for me. Stupid people think they're smart. And then cognitive dissonance takes over. One of the easiest ways for a stupid person to feel superior is to "know" something that the rest of the world doesn't. I'd suggest there's also a healthy dose of martyrdom in there too as they're constantly dismissed and belittled by intelligent people, which in turn helps marginalise and strengthen their community of like minded headcases. This is why cults do recruitment drives, by the way: it's not to actually recruit people, it's to subject their followers to constant rejection from normal people to further divide them from reality and make it harder for them to leave.

They think they're Henry Fonda in 12 Angry Men, thinking they'll be the hero to change everyone's minds one by one.

The UK antivax movement is getting more and more like Qanon, just unhinged bullshit. Here they are serving fake legal papers on staff at a vaccination centre.
"Common Law Constable"? Fuck off.

These absolute fucking wastes of oxygen are sadly wastes of NHS resources too. Hopefully she at least gets charged with impersonating a police officer.

It's unsurprising that these people think they understand the intricacies of the law better than any legal expert when they also think they understand the intricacies of medicine better than any scientist. Utterly deluded.

I highly doubt fontgeek understands the intricacies of Common Law. I understand it about as well as the magna carta. Not at all. Still well enough to know that anybody who loudly proclaims to be following it on a Twitter video is completely full of shit.

It takes literally seconds of Googling to find out that none of their bollocks has any standing in UK law, which could have saved a few of the morons massive fines and possibly some of them, prison.
"Yeahbutnobut, Elli's dad on Facebook said and he's got one of them anti-5g hats off the internet and it was like £200 so there! "
