Seems like our neighbours think we’re the arseholes. Had the retired husband knocking at the door this morning to ask why it was necessary to slam doors at 7am. We explained that it was our son, who’s just turned five. This didn’t seem to console him at all.
We live in terraced houses so we all live under each others noses. Five year olds are just noisy at times. And the neighbour is a cunt.
Going to pop round today and explain that kids will be kids and he can go to the council if he wants to complain any more.

And to add to the joys of my life, I have found out the neighbour directly to my right is a dealer and the one to my left, admittedly on another corner, is essentially a halfway house also with a dealer.
In all fairness, I've never had any issues but FFS

Piss on a plate, freeze it, then frisbee it thru letter box so it's far in the house. It will then defrost into a puddle, that is way too far from the door to suspect it was you pissing thru letterbox.

My neighbors are usually cool. There's huge concrete slabs separating the apartments so there's absolutely zero noise between the flats. Only noise is from the kids playing outside which is just part of living in the city.
They are currently erecting a tent in the shared garden though. Not sure why, it's going to be 30, will be absolutely boiling in a tent with no shade. Like a sweat lodge with sun blasting it for hours on end.

I live in a terraced house, guess they are 1920s ish (not sure). Neighbours have put up scaffolding on the front of the house. Not sure exactly what they're doing but think they're having the masonry refurbished / fixed, but whatever it is, it involves lots of sanding and some hammering.
As a consequence of this there is a shit load of dust that's covering not only their front "yard" (that's stretching the term, the yard is basically a strip of land maybe a metre and a half wide, basically a small strip just about big enough to have somewhere to store wheelie bins), but also ours. Very fine, plaster like dust covering everything, including my bike (no space inside to store it).
Our windows are also caked in it. Fortunately my room is on the third floor and rear facing, and as a lodger I won't have to sort out cleaning the windows but it's still quite infuriating. I hope the neighbour at least warned my landlord. Really the neighbour should pay for the cleaning when they're done.
