Things like this can unfortunately manifest over many years and create ongoing bad blood between neighbours that inevitably escalates and ends up with intimidation, threats, violence and eventually irredeemable crimes. So with that in mind, save yourself the time and go and chop them up this evening.

Black weren't they? Assuming wunty's 'burn them' advice was acted upon. So glad you weren't cursed with a new page

Yeah my partner's parents ended up with racist abuse and almost went full violence (bit of a scuffle rather than punches thrown). Police also ended up being called a few times. It all started over something so simple as the changing of a low wall and what colour it was.

CLARIFICATION: Is that their private parking space and is that their car? Or is it a public space? Either way, to me, that looks like a valid spot to park your bikes. The fact it's in a store of some kind makes little difference, they're just trying to look after their bikes. Dare I say that little spot might be an ideal place to park bikes. If it's a public spot I'd ask them to move it off the line and that would be it. But if it's their spot then I wouldn't give a shit. It's arguably tidier than loose bikes. Plus I'm guessing that they don't have a ton of room where they could store them. Unless there is some other stuff festering that you haven't shared, I think this is one of those things that you've wound yourself up over. We've all been there I've got a friend who lives on a new development with a drive, and she has people who live doors away parking their big horrible vans right in front of her front door all day and night but just she doesn't care. I get annoyed for her It's their parking space, but that bin store is in space that is not theirs. Nor are they supposed to even have a bin store, it is not allowed in the development contract we all have. Seriously, we can't even change our front doors without express permission. My main gripe is, I don't want to look at it, nobody else in the road is able to put a bin store out because there isn't space, but because they don't have enough space in their garage (because of bins, kids shit and a fucking camper van) they decide to utilise space that isn't theirs. Had they have asked if I minded I might not have given a shit, but I feel they are taking liberties.

I still don't massively see the problem here. Yes, it's a bit unsightly and they may be slightly taking the piss, but not enough for me to do anything about. You've still got to live near them, engage etc. Neighbourly disputes are just the worst and best avoided imo. I know I am being unreasonable yes, but I am also annoyed about it. But, it'll pass, I like them so I'm sure at some point with a drink or two in me I'll rib them about it and we'll share a laugh as I jokingly call them cunts...that or I'll wunty them.

If I leave anything to the world, I’d like it to be my name being synonymous with setting fire to someone’s bin storage.

When me and my brother where younger we nicked a load of lynx cans from the NAAFI. We then dumped them all in one of big metal bins with the the slide up lids, on fire. When we didn't hear any explosion after 5 mins he went to check, and got engulfed in an explosion Heratio Caine would cooly walk away from.
He got called Make-a-wish for ages at school until his hair and eyebrows grew back.

His neighbours kept putting their bins in his bike storage. Used diapers and mustard-stained knickers and shite." "Oh aye? What'd he do?" *sips tea* "Gave them the ol' Wunty."

What you need to do is build a spite storage bin so it has to twice the size and when they knock on your door about it, just say 'fuck you, you car wash cunt'.

Now if that was my DS3, and one morning I’d find it with a dent and a wheelie bin next to it, that’d probably make me consider using that storage box. I mean it was awfully windy last night so it’s bound to happen again.

Fucking grass neighbours called the rozzers on us. Sent out the sensible one of us, whose dad was a copper to talk to them.

Well mikeck , did you decide upon a suitable course of action I chilled the fuck out Ape But what I did do was go to put their bins away the next day in the storage after the bins had been emptied, so I could then message them saying I tried to put the bins away in ythe new fancy storage (making light of it) and couldn't as it was locked. They then messaged back confiming that it wasn't for the bins but for their bikes, outdoor equipment etc and that the bins would now live in the garage. Which I have no issue with really, my main gripe was that they had the storage and bins outside our house and it felt like a liberty because no-one else in the street could do that, and had to deal with putting their bins elsewhere. As said at the time, I knew I was being niggly about it, but it did bother me. But as we're on good terms and want that to remain, so it wasn't worth making an issue out of it.

So it's burnt to a crisp and you're using a forum post as cover in case the police look into. Gotcha.

A wise course of action. Perhaps not exciting enough for us here (ie no blood was spilled, no night vision glasses or chair shitting) but correct nevertheless

I know you totally didn't do anything, but if you did I hope you totally Horatio Caine-d that mothafucka walking away from the blaze and putting on your sunglasses like "You were warned, and now you've BIN burned".

Hottest night of the year Everyone has their windows open to cool their house down.
Perfect timing for selfish bastards to have a drunk karaoke and wail Adele songs at the top of their voices at one in the morning

hahah.
one of my fave college memories was me randomly crossing the street and a convertible of non-singing Mexican dudes (reminder: soy mexicano) blasting and scream singing the WE COULD’VE HAD IT ALL bit, pointing at me, and I nailing the falsetto “ROLLING IN THE DEEEEEE~EEEP!” bit, followed by them yelling “YEAH” in approval. It was so random but lowkey cute.
