Just gave the wife a mid-life crisis. She was on at me to secure some stuff in the garden because 'remember that storm 20 years ago when people got really hurt by falling debris?'.
'Youre thinking of the one where Rene got hit in the head and that was 35 years ago'
'Nah...*googles*... wow, im old'

There's a large Bay tree at the bottom of the garden (not mine) that is looking pretty vulnerable. Otherwise it's not too bad.

I remember the Birmingham tornado about fifteen years ago because me and my friend were playing pitch and putt in nice weather one minute then the next running back to the car in the worst rain ever. When he got back to his house a massive tree had been uprooted and was blocking his road.
So far it's just a bit gusty but not at all stormy.

They sent us out in this today and it's dangerous as fuck. Already had a downed tree.

It's now sounding like the the apocralypse outside. Roof tiles seem to be holding up. Go careful if you're out there, lads.

Thanks for this, very interesting. Sharon in the comments seems very keen on mentioning that she often swims naked in these waters. Presumably not this morning though. Conversation has moved on from Sharon's nakedness now.

We are about 5 mins from stone henge and I'm pretty sure one of the rocks just flew past the window. Keep getting power cuts too.

It would have to be recycling bin day wouldn't it. I'm chancing it. Ours was all picked up yesterday, so nothing inside to weigh them down and my road is a binpocalypse

Our swingball set has just blown over... Absolute carnage!
Neighbours have lost a couple of panels and our small bit of fencing on our side of responsibility is looking ropey. Just MacGyver secured it to a post that seems to serve no other purpose.

When is this shit stopping? Never. The 65mph winds in Leeds are forecast to stop late tonight, but there are >40mph winds forecast every day as far forward as the Met Office are forecasting. I don't like wind.

Trees down everywhere and people drive like twats there on a normal day, so can imagine it's worse today.
