Does everyone get a romance episode in series 2? Bashir's is still the worst one. The look Jake gives Ben when he tells him she keeps disappearing over dinner was perfect
That man was insufferable though. Jesus. I'd say fire him into the sun, but...

S03E10 ST Enterprise Similitude was a hard episode, I loved it but damn what a tear jerker. Yeah, wow, that was a beautiful episode.

90, that's mad. Also he'd be the first person from Star Trek to actually go to space lol

I was just thinking that. I just watched Hatchery episode adn the sexual tension between Reed and Major was palpable.

I’ve got Hatchery next. All that sparring they were doing in Harbinger was getting pretty homoerotic.

Just watched the Picard season 2 trailer, Yeah... doesn't fill me hope. Kind of reminded me of those shonky Sci Fi shows from 2000's like Andromeda and Farscape.

That makes it sound far more fun than I'm expecting it to be. Something along those lines would be very welcome, particularly considering the dour tone that most modern Trek goes for. Besides, Farscape was genuinely very good (I never watched Andromeda, so can't comment on it).

Yeah bit unfair to lump it in with Andromeda. It was much better.

I swear Mark Twain in that two-parter is the most obnoxious character in the history of TNG

Also farscape was amazing Picard and STD wish they were half as good as farscape (tbh modern ST is not as good as Andromeda and thats saying a lot)

As if they stop the Xindi Death Star and we immediately get landed with a fucking trapped in the past cliffhanger with alien Nazis like its Doctor Who or something Edit: season 4 started… not the temporal cold war 😩

While it's not the best moment of Star Trek, I dig the beginning of ENT S4. It's as if they realised that whole "temporal war" thing just didn't work out, so they put a clown nose on the concept, put it on a bomb and blew it up. What's more, we got a shuttlecraft full of nazis blown up, we got devilish aliens in SS uniforms, we got stukas with plasma cannons. Seriously, that's awesome. Loved it.

Manny coto took over for s4 but to finish off that story. S4 is the best of enterprise apart from the last episode

ENT S4 was serious fun. Shame it was cancelled, and absolute shame for that disgraceful last episode

I literally laughed out loud when I saw the Nazi Aliens, I forgot ENT had a standard lizard Nazi arc lol. Brilliant. If you haven't seen it already, you'll like the next episode, Home. Well I did anyway, Trip really has a sad story arc man, hit me right in the feels.

It ticks the boxes for me.
Pew pew laser battles, space kung fu and a motley crew of misfits battling against overwhelming odds.
It would have been good to have something a bit more cerebral than action packed.

It was a definite surprise to go 24 episodes of Xindi after space 9/11 and then that’s the cliffhanger they went with?!
Home was a really nice episode. It feels like its been half a season since they got to act like real people not just wrapped up in the weapon crisis.
Phlox’s big head felt like a very early season kind of gag one of the other Treks would have pulled.

I really liked the TNG episode right after 'Best of Both Worlds,' Think it was called 'Family.' Picard goes home and we meet Worf's parents for the first time? Anyway, Picard breaking down after being so controlled for a long time was very poignant.

Yeah, that’s one of my favourite episodes, Stewart is fantastic in it. Apparently Gene tried to stop it because he was against the idea of brothers not getting on in the future.

When it becomes apparent Picards brother has been winding him up on purpose, to force him to face up to what happened, is why Patrick Stewart and Jeremy Kemp rolling around in the mud is one of Star Treks finest moments.
Worf with his parents is good too.
