Well, the odds of winning stay the same.
There's a very slight increase that you may have to share the jackpot.
But having to share with 10 winners would be life changing. 20 even. 50.
It would take an incredibly unlikely number of winners to really piss on another winner's chips
Frankly I'd be happy enough with 18k, might even give me enough to use as a house deposit.

It's the principle though. Even with just 2 winners, your fortune could have been twice as much if the other people hadn't won or were just dead

The estimated drop off in prize money is incredible. 5 numbers & 2 lucky stars = the jackpot of £184m. 5 numbers and 1 lucky star = £130,554. 5 numbers = £13,561 According to the official website. In the last one I think the 5+1 got about £1 mil.

I'd be happy with the £130k. I mean obviously, I'd be proper pissed off that I missed it by one number, but it would be enough to buy a small flat that I can rent out for a bit of income until Mrs Hermit inevitably divorces me and I need somewhere to live.

Jesus, can you imagine getting five numbers, shitting yourself and then realising you can't even buy a new Dacia with your winnings.

Probably me boasting last night that I won £51 at the weekend, then deleting it to avoid all the begging letters.

I keep winning free lucky dips. I'm sure it's doing it to spite me.

I had free lucky dip rollover from last week, then it won me £57 for 3 numbers on Saturday.

I won the lottery on Saturday night, rather than telling you up front in the email they make you login to find out you've won a whole £5.

Yeah, plus they always seem to send the emails in the middle of the night for me. Probably not great for my mental well-being starting the day with "woohoo, no more money worries!" and then slipping back to "oh well, only another 29 years to retirement I suppose..."

Won £67 in regular lotto a week or two ago. Only because it was some big rollover money must go shenanigans. But still, biggest win I've gotten before.

"News about your ticket". £2.60. Wankers It's annoying. They should do that news about your ticket for anything over £100, then at least you know you are getting something decent.

Yeah, different tiers of notifications would be nice. Or just send the notifications straight away instead of the early hours of the morning.

They probably do it in purpose to give you that initial rush so you play again

The prize pools for euromillions needs a tweak.
Given the jackpot is £100m + you'd expect hitting four numbers and both the bonuses would be shopping for a new car territory instead it's a few hundred pounds.
