I mean how could you not? Quite easily I'd imagine because people are cunts as well as me. I'd already be bitter that it's been taxed 50% and on 90ish million I though lottery winnings were tax free, unless you mean some sort of tax for giving it away?

Huh... "All prizes, including the jackpot, are tax-free (except in Switzerland, Spain and Portugal, since 2013) and are paid as a lump sum."
Didn't realise that taxing lottery winnings was a thing outside of the states.

Depends where you live I guess, 50% maybe a tad extreme but you definitely have to pay tax on it in Spain.
And then you'd need to pay tax on interest and earnings and stuff even if it was tax free so you'd need an accountant to sort through that.

Pretty sure it is tax free winnings.
I'd give back in way of creating jobs. Would love to start a brewing company and open Breweries around the country. I know London is full of these, but loads of places have none. Would be nothing fancy, just a nice place that everyone can bring their dogs and kids or something.
I have zero clue how to run a business. But people will be paid handsomely to do that shit.

Yeah, it's 20% on anything over €40,000 in Spain apparently.
If you win just give the ticket to me to cash in and I'll give you 90% back as a gift.

I guess starting a business could be cool but I'd want nothing to do with the day to day running of it. I want to be done with anything resembling work.

I can brew on the stove so scaling up shouldn't be too difficult right?

Any leads?

Yeah it's a bit of a cliché but I'd definitely open up a record store because I've watched High Fidelity too many times. I'm 100% certain I'd run the business into the ground.

I think it would split my activities across the following workstreams:
- mini property empire, mainly for own use, but can Airbnb them - a home in the sun, in some cultural hotspots (Tokyo/Kyoto, Paris, New York, Rome) - mainly passive investment into green stuff - pure philanthropic pursuits (animal, environment, social)/ - set up a couple businesses as social enterprises - buying myself a peerage/knighthood - skilling up in all sorts of areas (music, art, science)

The estimated drop off in prize money is incredible.
5 numbers & 2 lucky stars = the jackpot of £184m. 5 numbers and 1 lucky star = £130,554. 5 numbers = £13,561
According to the official website.
