I have got traps, I think, as I've picked some up. Couldn't see them anywhere though. Unless they're in my little item bar thing. Another tip - purchase and equip* the powercharm and armourcharm (or powertalon and armourtalon, i can't remember which is available first) They boost your attack and defence. *Have them in your inventory when you go out on a hunt. |

From the merchant guy who is essentially opposite the village quest girl.
I can't remember what is the trigger to make them available. And they are quite expensive.

They will show up when you reach 6* village quests. From memory the cost is about 36000z
And then when you get to high rank quests you will get materials that allow to to upgrade them.

I just watched the video and came here to post about the Beta!
This will be a download from the PSN store? I'm pretty sure that's how it worked for World.

PS gets it early, Tues and Wed I think, everyone else gets it Thurs on through to Sun. And it's crossplay

Memories of the World beta is that there was one, or maybe two monsters to fight. Or maybe even three. Easy, Medium and Hard.
Hard might even have been Nergigante.
Anyone remember?

It's the rare kind of game that is fantastic in solo and multiplayer and is balanced so well between both modes. It's also one of the rare games that I've played where even randoms are so chill and quite welcoming and really helpful and if you don't want to engage with that you can go solo and see no one ever. |

Anytime I've asked for players to jump in, it's been nothing but the most courteous Japanese players. Genuinely one of the least toxic communities to be part of aside from say Helldivers 2.

Via the Capcom website I presume. I might even already have one.
It seems that I did already have one, but it wasn't linked to my PS account. But I have now linked it.
All quite easy in the end.
