Started off at a rate of knots again I see. Love to see it. And loved Stokes saying that he might consider not batting a 2nd innings to force a result in a game in the future. Mentality is elite.

Yep, he seemed spent in that final over, but luckily Robinson was up.
It feels like (although they aren't similar really) following Strauss' team. He was the last captain that I think was top drawer.

edit: there will indeed be a fourth "day" but with England needing 55 it's not going to get to lunch.

So, that's Bazball for the year. Couldn't imagine looking forward to the Ashes after the last tour. I'm still getting used to altering my mindset on England. I've no idea how many times I've seen scores like we were racking up in Rawlpindi and thought to myself "there's no point keeping up with this, it will be a draw."

Yeah, really nicely batted by SA, they deserved the win. Thought England bowled some crud at the end, too, unfortunately, so there's plenty to work on.
