If Afridi hadn't retired hurt that could have been a lot more squeaky bum time in the final overs. Massive credit to Pakistan bowlers fot getting close to defending that total.
Great to see Pakistan at the top of their game again, they're never boring to watch.

Absolutely pointless games these to be fair.... complete nonsense, especially so soon after the T20 world cup. Not saying we've put a weak team out, actually looks pretty decent, but still missing at least half our best XI.

I'm enjoying them. I think it's useful to give new talent and those fighting to get back into the team playing internationals rather than first class and club.

Unless I've blotted them from my memory, England men didn't play ODIs on last winter's Ashes tour so this is probably another knock-on from all the pandemic re-jigging of the schedules. |
