Are they not releasing a physical version of this on the PS5? Can't see it sold anywhere, just the PS4 version.

I guess the PS4 physical version will work on the PS5, I can't imagine it would really make much difference. They're not exactly pretty games anymore, if there are any technical advantages they probably couldn't be perceived by most people. |

Very good point, I just don't want to hand over the money for them to say oh you need the PS5 version for all the bells and whistles which wouldn't exactly surprise me.

There isn't a PS5 version announced. The trilogy is just PS4/XB1 with enhanced features when running in back compatibility mode on PS5 or Series consoles.

Have they announced any soundtrack changes? Didn't they have to cut some missions for the original Xbox version? Wonder if this will be a 'complete' version.

baihu, this is what I'm waiting for. I think we lost 3-5 odd songs from VC a few year back. I hope we don't lose loads or/and the put in some replacements. the music goes a long way to the experience. In fact I would go as so far as to say for me a good GTA game is 70% music, radio ads and talk stations and 30% gameplay.

Yeah I'm probably going to wait to see what's changed or been cut.
Wonder if some missions are gone so they don't offend.
The music really played a big part in Vice City

If done sensitively, I reckon they could find suitable replacements for any music they can't get the license for. I have a certain amount of trust in them taking it seriously and knowing it's such an important part of the experience. And the radio stations in GTA V/Online have kept growing in quality and variety over the years- you'd be surprised if you checked it out today having only seen it at release.

Yeah that is a bit of a worry. If they have drastically changed the soundtrack you'd hope they want to be clear on that, rather than risk backlash from early adopters who don't realise, but it's GTA and people will buy it in droves regardless so...

Definitely waiting for some DF beard stroking dissection before I consider spending any money to get VC... The silence since the trailer + a couple of awful looking Switch screenies doesn't exactly fill me with hope.

I suppose the mitigation is that you can just play Spotify on your console and go through the old playlists. You'd miss out on the DJ bants which isn't the end of the world, tbh
