On mobile, it would be a lot nicer to have a ‘view last comment’ or page option on the thread list.
I might be stupid here but I have to click the thread, then go to the last page. Two clicks, and it’s always better to minimise clicks for user experience.

Press where it says new and it will go to the first post you haven't read.

Good tip but still can’t jump to the last page if there’s no new post.

If there is nothing new then it's not that important surely?

Someone has changed things around, to allow this website to be accessed from my work computer. Thank you. But I can't post anything from my work computer. When I try, I get this message: Is it possible to change that, so I can procrastinate fully on my work computer?

This looks like a software block (something Web-controlly, like an AV or Forcepoint/Websense), not something this site is doing.

Yeah that's your work router config. Speak to your IT guys.

Fair enough. I was hoping you guys could do some magic. Unlucky. Looks like I'll have to continue to procrastinate on my phone. No big deal.

Well, you could RDP* to your home PC (assuming that hasn't been blocked) and access it that way.
*or any remote access software, logmein, splashtopremote etc..

If it's not blocked, you could always try something like a free proxy: www.hidemyass.com/en-gb/proxyNOTE: I'd be very careful using this for anything you put any remotely personal/sensitive data into.

100% speak to your IT guys rather than trying to find some kind of workaround. This is whatever web filtering solution they use not being able to identify what kind of content this site is due to it being relatively new.
If you know what system they use they might have an externally available URL that you can go to to manually categorise fontgeek.io, which would then eventually filter through to your work system.

The default user image
Looks like Sajid Javid
Can we get it changed to an actual picture of him?
It will help the lazy buggers who haven't uploaded their own profile photo to get off their arses.

I like the idea but think only The Boss can sort.

It would actually be better to not display anything, because it would make messages much more compact vertically.

How about a 'mark all threads read' tab?

Only thing I miss is the threads I've posted in option, for when I'm being miserable.

On desktop there's a participated threads button that opens a small window with all the threads you've posted in.
Most of the requests in this thread are already available on desktop mode

How about a 'mark all threads read' tab? Why did no one tell me this already existed? Unless it's just been added in the last day or so?

Anyone else have the issue, on iOS Safari, where the “New” link almost always takes you back a few posts too far?
It’s almost every time for me.

The issue, EMarkM mate, is that you're using Safari. (no, I agree. It's a bit random and I often miss it with my aging digits)

I successfully press “New” and it takes me to my first unread post as intended, but then, as the page finishes loading, it scrolls itself back up a few posts to ones I’ve seen before. I have quite delicate and precise fingers, I’ll have you know! But manly. Oh yes, manly…

I'd switch browsers, but I already use Safari for "entertainment" browsing and Chrome for "Googling stuff / shopping" type browsing so I'm too set in this way

After a bit of gentle testing, it really doesn’t seem to happen with text threads: well spotted!
When it does happen, it’s just a little annoying, as you briefly see the first new post you want, and then it whizzes away!
Ah well, not to worry!

Huh, must be because the forum software is using AJAX to load pages: all the HTML is returned as a text string inside a "results" property inside a JSON object…
