I have 2 jumpers on, the heating is on for an hour and I am still cold. Brrr. Not even any snow on the horizon

Beginning to regret having wood flooring without heating under it. Looking at some big grass rugs, always wanted a sisal one.

I'm going to sound as old as... I am, but slippers will sort the cold floor problem. I'm using them in our annex which is no where near as warm as the rest of the house.

It's like a rug... for your feet!

Nothing wrong with slippers. I've used slippers since my teens, at least.
Better than walking around in socks, barefoot or (worst of all) being all American about it and wearing shoes indoors.

It's cold as fuck. That 16 degree day last week was a trap!

Having recently got on the dressing gown bandwagon I need to source a good pair of slippers. Kind of want the feeling of warm pillows on my feet.

First snow in 2 years here today. Was about 4cm by the time we finished the 2 mini snowmen and called it quits and came inside. Kids happy. I had to abandon my bike in town and take the train home though.

I'm rocking a different coloured pair of these, just realised they're a bit worn inside and I've had them for 2 years so maybe time to get more cosiness....

There's my mistake then. Got a pair from M&S.. look like they're going to fall apart and I only got them a few months ago.

Swear by Ugg leather slipons, they look Vikingesque still going strong 2 years later.

Purchased. They're the sort of pillow effect I was looking for.

Yeah, got some memory foam ones from Amazon and they're the mutt's nuts even if they're the most boring looking generic grandad slippers you could imagine. Also got a pair of fleecy slipper socks which are nice, but you can still feel a bit of a chill from the floor in those.

Normal snow here early. Bit wet now. Very dark out already.

We had a small amount of snow (York), then rain and now its looking like the apocolypse is enroute when I look out the front window.
...so I will look out the back windows where it looks a lot more serene.

I have that exact pair on now - sole starting to come off so will be a dog toy soon, but very comfy.
