I'm taking the how long can I go without changing my wardrobe challenge.
One year when I was living in Carlisle I got as far as end of October/Early November whilst still wearing Summer clothes, that was an unusually warm year though.

You'll get cancer now.
I've pulled out my trusty winter goody and comfy joggers.

I am still resolutely in shorts.
Heating is on though and it’s toasty in here.
Log burner is going on tomorrow though.

My heating came on aain this evening. I told it to pack it in. We were obviously wimps last winter (or rich), but I figure we can cope with 18c and it doesn't need to be higher than that.
I've got a thermal top on and a Rab sweater as well, so I should be able to cope. No way could I wear shorts though!

It's too cold... and it was the Apolcalypse here last night. I thought my house was going to recreate the opening scene of the Wizard of Oz.

I've lit the fire for the last two nights. It's been fucking bliss. But I am a complete nesh when it comes to cold.

I wish, it's 25 degrees here, with punishing southern hemisphere sun.

Brrr.. gas bill is going to be bonkers. I'm really trying not to use the heating too mmuch, but it's so cold. A standalone radiator goes a long way. Get it to heat up the bedroom before bed for about an hours, set the timer for it to come back on half an hour before you get up. If you jump right into the shower you won't notice the rest of the house in the morning.

Quick question: in degrees Celsius, what constitutes a "warm" temperature for you lot? High teens? Low 20s?
