Can finally start using the bike.
I'm not loving it but it's keeping me playing and I'm still pretty early in to it. My only real issue so far is setting markers just doesn't seem to work. When I go to place one on the map it just moves my cursor back on Sam.

Hold X and move the cursor to the location you want to go to and let go of the button.

Thanks.
Lol actually so simple I don't know how I didn't just stumble onto it.

It does tell you on the map if you move the cursor over your location.

Had some cargo pinged by a MULE sensor yesterday. Any way of disabling them or seeing which packages might be pinged/tracked? When the ping hit it seemd to only higlight one of the cases on Sam's back...

On chapter 3 now and starting to get into the story.
Update has been released to fix the quick resume/save bug.

Started this last night and aside from the weird-ass faces, considering this is just a souped-up PS4 title, it’s a damn fine looking game.

When the ping hit it seemd to only higlight one of the cases on Sam's back... You can't disable it. I think it's just a way of the game telling you that there maybe trouble ahead. The MULES are actively seeking you. The cargo could be dumped but can't remember if it tells you what type it is.

This is such a deeply weird game.

Yup. It’s why I loved it so much. You just have to let it happen to you

Do I buy this for £17.50 on Xbox (that wasn’t shouted about on the Home/Store screen at all!) or is it yet another ginormous game like insert From game here that I bounce off because I’ve been ruined by the COD loop

It's quite a long game, but an excellent price. If you fancy some chilled out wandering at some point you will have some fun with it. I keep meaning to go back to it but I feel I'm probably at the stage where I will feel lost and abandon it.

I made the biggest(and final) contribution to a road.
I want it named after me Kojima!

I’ve bought it and will go in cautiously optimistic as I’ve been burned by Hideo before - looking at you MGS5 non ending half way through. What the hell?!
Edit - any Xbox lurkers it had two days on it at this price

I’m not sure if I’d download this even if it came to game pass. I know it reviewed well and two mates say how great it is but to me it looks like the last game I’d want to play and I hated mgsV, very different games I know but same main man and both are batshit crazy. There’s nothing that appeals in all the videos I’ve watched except the pretty visuals. Hope everyone else who buys it on Xbox enjoys it though!

MGSV’s issue was that it was a brilliant game that just stopped and then told me I was playing a mobile phone management game to get a real ending. I have a half memory he was pushed into releasing it prematurely.

Yeah, but to be fair he was taking the piss with how long development was taking.

I was enjoying mgs until the robots arrived, then I sacked it off and stopped playing.

Well I played for about 45 minutes and still haven’t found an opportunity to pause and save and come off it, so I’ve just put it to sleep for hopefully quick resume after the first repatriation? So far, it’s beautiful and horrible, seems to have strong threads of both body AND cosmic horror and if I don’t have bad dreams tonight I’ll be lucky! Absolutely intriguing.
