I do like the auto-download thing. Woke up, checked my PS5, 8 minutes left of the download, went back to bed.
Friday at work is gonna be the longest day ever

Can it be pre-loaded on Steam yet? I've not pre-ordered, but as long as it doesn't seem to be broken from a skim of today's PC reviews I'll want to be able to get it all downloaded and ready to go for when I can play on Friday (hovering over the book leave button!)
Edit - apparently it could be pre-loaded 48 hours before the release time (11pm tomorrow in the UK). Should be available to download on Steam now then.

And I’m now off work for a week and a half. Just in time for this to download.
I am reluctant to start any new games now so will be mostly messing about in Nioh 2, which I have now more than likely put more hours into than DS2. The PS5 update is fantastic.
Friday can’t come quick enough now.

Keep meaning to go back to Nioh 2. Just kept getting sidetracked with other stuff. It's second only to From's Soulsborne games imo, in fact, it may even be on a par. put loads of hours in early on but drifted away.

Not played Nioh 2, but have played a bit of Nioh 1. I liked it, but didn't love it. Does the sequel improve on it?
Should go back to it sometime, as I didn't get hugely far (spent a very long time fighting this annoying lightning cat creature, which I eventually beat, but don't think I played much beyond it).

The sequel is basically Nioh 1.5. It keeps a lot of what Nioh had, including enemies, bosses and some maps (!), but adds a shit ton more. The Yokai shift and counter stuff is brilliant and, whilst it can appear overwhelming at first with all the yokai stuff in addition to everything else, once you get into it, it's absolutely superb.
I love all the Yokai they've put in there as well.

I think the only thing I need to do now for platinum is to master all weapons. The trophies didn’t carry over from the PS4 version for some reason so have to re do all the weapons I had previously mastered. Oh well, it’s fun trying different playstyles anyway.

Is it today the review embargo lifts? Fucking sweet. Gotta be careful of spoilers though. Not sure I'll read them. Be nice to get a general consensus though, although I think most of us here already know what we're in for.

fonzie It's because I saw you playing it I reinstalled it. Intending to juggle that with Dying Light til Elden Ring. Bloody Cyberpunk. Coming along and being all awesome.

. Gotta be careful of spoilers though. With an open world game, it won’t be long before a speed runner heads straight to the final boss. It’ll be tough to avoid spoilers for sure I’m not sure if there’s a proper order in which the game should be tackled but everyone will head north, south, east west and have different experiences that will obviously end in an unfair death I just hope people on here are respectful of spoilers especially on NPC quests etc

Yeah, I'm sure the fine folk here will spoiler tag the shit out of everything.
One thing I don't mind is area names not being spoilered. I love reading when folk are further ahead and mention an area, only for me to then try and imagine what the hell it could be like. It's fun.
Prob best if we just spoiler tag everything for a while though. Just to be sure.

I bought Cyberpunk as well as it dropped to £20. Not started it though as it will end up unfinished once Friday arrives. I was reluctant to get it but after seeing a few positive comments on here I thought at £20 I’d take the risk.

Friendly reminder to label what the spoiler is generally about outside of the spoiler tag too. I don’t mind being spoiled on, say, types of spell or armour, but I’d rather not know exactly what’s behind the big scary door in the crypt, or where the floor caves out from under you and so on.

Nioh 2 is excellent. Pretty much improves everyone from the he already great original. Highly recommend to anyone who hasn't played. I'd say it's about 74 times more difficult than from software games though.

I still haven't played Nioh 2,reqlly want to though. I'll have to pick up the Nioh Collection at some point this year to give it a blast as I loved Nioh 1.

Probably stupid question, but how do you add spoiler tags here? I've not needed to up to now but I'm sure I will over the coming weeks and months.

As mentioned already, Nioh 2 is a bigger, improved version of the first game. Some of the builds you can work towards are awesome. My current build uses twin swords with poison on them. My armour has perks that increase poison build up and also percentage damage increase against poisoned enemies. I can just melt through some bosses now.

You put the thing between [ spoiler ] and [ /spoiler ] tags, but without the spaces. Like this
