Work changed my leave for me, apparently there's "training" on the 21st so they cancelled 21 and 22 Feb. I'm off Weds anyway and having a clear day to get the house in order before a debauched 8 day marathon from the 25th is probably sensible

I bought DS3 because of how enthusiastic everyone in the dark souls thread is about dark souls. Played 5-10m, haven't been able to play it since because of time.
I bought DL2 recently because of how enthusiastic everyone in there was about it. Played about 10 minutes, because it gave me a chronic migraine.
I just pre-ordered Elden Ring because of how enthusiastic everyone is about it here.
We bought a house and we're moving that weekend BUT I have 2 days of annual leave booked the following week SO I WILL BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY PLAY IT. Probably.
Genuinely excited.

Interestingly the minimum requirements were updated on Steam then removed. Look a bit steep tbh when you consider this is being released on an Xbox one.

I look at it fondly now, but back then I imported it from the US with horribly expensive shipping and customs and whatnot thinking it must be the best game ever made and it was… that. |
