I'm either going melee/magic or melee/faith, with the ultimate aim of massively overlevelling so I can try out every single weapon and spell that I come across.

Another day one purchaser. Still a bit unsure about the open world aspects, but yeah it's Dark Souls 4... what else am I gonna do in springtime?
Will be playing on Xbox Series S, hoping for a considerable performance boost over my base PS4.

alcachofaThere's a Digital Foundry video from the closed network test, if memory serves I think there is a performance mode on Series S, unlike PS4 (obviously).

A nice steady framerate and a decent guide helped massively. The stone-flingers at the bottom were an absolute cakewalk compared to my first visit. |

That VaatiVidya video is really good, he focuses almost entirely on the area from the CNT, but looking at new mechanics and features, things that have changed and the like.

I've seen plenty of videos on this and remember pretty much fuck all other than a dragon, your horse can defy gravity and some dodgy looking stealth.
Oh and there was a tree.
I dont think watching videos will hamper my sense of discovery.
