So jolly cooperation then. I know people are exploring still but should we start getting something together about bosses for example for coop? Margit I imagine I’m such a wuss when it comes to scary games, so to hear you guys nopeing out of certain areas makes me think I might need a virtual companion to hold my hand through some of this Tomorrow I’m definitely going to make some progress towards the first boss. Unless I get distracted again. Also, for anyone looking for some smithing stones there are 4 just past the bonfire at rear Gael tunnel entrance, which is just up the cliff from the third church of marika Guessing most of you have it already, but just in case

Just a quick tip about co-op, and maybe this is me being thick, but I thought setting a password would prioritise co-op with you guys but still let me co-op with anyone. Seems not. Couldn't get summoned at all last night, but as soon as I disabled the password I was summoned instantly.

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't see Russell Grant with a Katana Addy. Well, now... You wanted to see Russell's big curved Katana, you only had to ask. The lengths he went to in order to get this; he had to tackle a very big, throbbing fiery wyrm!! Here it is with some nice lighting. Enjoy.

Spent an hour or two pottering about and trying to clean out Morne. Leonine Cuntforgotten can go fuck himself though. I'll try him again tomorrow!
Level 20 so thinking I ought to go up to Stormveil after this and look for this Margit everyone is talking about..

RobEGRob, many thanks for the heads up on the magic scroll you mentioned earlier today. I finally found it and have a couple of extra magic spells to play with now, very nice!

In past games it allows you to bypass any restrictions though, so you might have a monster damage beast for the early bosses

Ended up going down in a mega long lift to an area with lots of runes, went up another life then saw a red invader and noted the fuck out of there. NPC s are fuckers for sorcerers as they dodge the ranged attacks easily

Exploring this second well has me basically going "fuck no, shiiiit, oooh that's cool, what the fuck is that!?" before warping away.
Also, before that I took a gallop north. Had 20k runes on me but thought I could run away if needed and what's the worst that can happen?
Madness. That's what. Madness.
So long 20k. I'm not going back for you. Nope. No thank you.

Agree that the NPCs are a bit bullshit, but you could just arrowcheese them otherwise

Badass. Looks like you inflict a decent amount of pain. I do. When I'm not running away. But unfortunately I'm mainly running away.

Has anyone tried much co-op yet? A friend was asking if it was something we could do much co-op with and I realised I actually had no idea how it works and what the limitations are. Even though previous Souls games aren't really designed with playing co-op in mind, we have been able to play 80-90% of them together, but I just noticed a tooltip saying that exploration is limited in ER when in multiplayer.
If the open world can't really be done co-op, then that would mean only a small amount can really be played together.
Just fought Clifford the Big Red Dog this evening. First boss that didn't have a stake outside it and actually required a bit of a run. Not much of one, but still a little bit.
Was doing quite a lot of damage, but tough to get hits in against him. Ended up just holding back for his leap.
Also found my first illusory wall leading up to him.

Now you can play with your kid and literally praise the son. I helped mine beat the first main boss today. I actually died right at the end and my son only needed to get two hits in. I thought he was going to have a heart attack, he nearly totally fluffed it but he did it. It was that classic who ever gets the next hit in wins. He was all sweaty and drained. . Couch elden ring co op rules!!

You know, I haven't actually seen a single summon sign anywhere... Other than an npc summon outside Margit! Bloodstains have started working properly tonight though, so that's something at least!

I think I've used those a couple of times just to see if there was anything around and... Nothing 😄 Just made it to Weeping Peninsula for the first time, so will probably finish up for the evening in a bit. This place looks interesting... well, apart from the MASSIVE bloody arbalest arrow that was just fired from a castle, whilst Russell was standing by the map collection point and all , the utter swines!
