Anybody else having weird issues with this site on the latest version of Chrome (Android)? Seems to bring up the select/report post dialogue box whenever I press pretty much anywhere. Works fine if I roll back to 128 or use a different browser. Weird... Apologies if I've reported any posts! Thought I was going mad - exact same thing is happening on my end. Has Elon taken over FG? |

Anyone got an ASU’s Rog ally? Loads of places have them at a fairly steep discount now the new one is out and most reviews are from launch and mention a few power gremlins and whatnot. Just wondering if updates have improved them.

I still have the radio playing on Sunday mornings and I’m reminded as to how similar a career DJs have with influencers and live streamers. You need to be able to chat copious amounts of rubbish, laugh at terrible or even non-jokes, share nonsensical anecdotes and sell it with just the right kind of false enthusiasm that the listener will buy it. It can often be incredibly disingenuous.
I think I still listen to it simply because if I put on my own music, I spend a ridiculous amount of time deciding what I want to listen to, before skipping half of whatever I have lined up.

I’m still surprised anyone listens to the radio when there’s streaming available. I have the radio on basically all day. I even pay to have ads removed. It's company for when I'm here alone and generally play music I like and it's just background noise really. Streaming is for when I actively want to listen to something. |

Yup, as a big radio listener, especially in the kitchen, I totally agree.
Weekend morning Radio 6 Music is good company whilst sorting stuff out and reading the paper etc.

Never really got into 6 Music. Found it but too try hard/how do you do fellow kids. R2 is too poppy which leaves me with commercial. Bauer are cunts but at least present a degree of choice and ease of use.

6 music plays a lot of stuff I like but always seems to go to drum and bass when the wife enters the room so she switches to Jazz FM or Classic when I leave the room - but I can’t stand the ads. 6 music Cerys and Mcconie have played a fair bit of 70s Turkish psych stuff, especially lately, and had a current Turkish singer being interviewed at the weekend. Great for me winding up the Greek wife about the source of Greek music  |

I usually have some Ibiza house internet radio playing when I'm WFH (which is pretty much full time) and I'm not doing something I really need to think about, out in the car on my own I'll have the World Service, 4extra or Radio 4 on, Greatest Hits Radio if they all me down.

They are cunts for buying out regional commercial stations, putting good local journos out of work and networking them to be Greatest Hits Radio with no ties to the community at all. |
