Good luck to anyone waiting for A-level results either for themselves or their young ‘uns. I remember it was stressful and nerve wracking but normally works out well in the end.
If all else fails, the University of Central Lancashire (Preston Poly when I was a lad) will have you on a course in no time.

If your other half has just had a difficult coil fitting and subsequently bought a load of puddings and pastries so that the kitchen now looks like a patisserie DON'T say "jesus, what did they put up you??!"

I did actually do some investigating about spider repellents yesterday. Anyone tried any? You can get noisy things for plugs, smelly things, spray, burn down your house
