We just had an earthquake in Melbourne and the surrounding area. The whole building around me slowly shook from side to side for about 10-20 seconds. Doesn't seem to be much damage. Weird experience though, haven't felt one since I lived in Ottawa and didn't even know they happened here. Bit of excitement for the day.
EDIT: Magnitude 6 apparently!

quitsking Why the fuck are you sleeping underwater?  I bought my first ever memory foam mattress (an Emma Original). It does feel like all I've done is bought a giant sponge though and that the sales people must be pissing themselves at people like me who are buying them. First night's sleep was a bit warm, but I think I've got less aches than usual for this time in the morning. |

Got a buckwheat husk pillow, much better than memory foam. Like ridiculously better. Stiff support and malleability all in one package

I can't stop thinking about this four fingered KitKat Chunky. I think I'm going to have to make one. My plan is thus:
Step 1: buy 4 KitKat Chunkys
Step 2: fuse them together with a bit of melted chocolate
Step 3: eat
Step 4: vomit

Thankfully I haven't needed to get public transport for years so nowadays if I fall asleep on my journey it just involves me collapsing on to the pavement. |

Stiff support and malleability all in one package We're still talking about pillows, right?... We got a Simba mattress years ago and they somehow fucked up the promotion and gave us four memory foam pillows, which are pretty great. Not sure I'd pay £60 apiece for them, though. |

I've got an Emma memory foam pillow. It's good, but not as good as my old latex (steady) pillow from Dreams. Which they don't do anymore. Need a new mattress too but will probably stick with pocket sprung with memory foam topper.

Peanut butter kitkats are an abomination. I only go regular. Shit. How can I dip all four fingers into my coffee at once, the mug isn't big enough. I haven't thought this through. Ah wait, a bowl. I'll have a bowl of coffee. I know I can just break each finger off and dip but that defeats the purpose. If I'm doing this, I'm doing it properly. Just going to have to hope it all fits in my mouth.

Japanese kitkats are a trip The girl has a BYO advent calendar and last year we got a pack of random japanese kitkats and put on in each day. There was one 'Cherry Blossom Sake' which tasted like vodka flavoured with a glade plug-in. It was genuinely one of the most disgusting things I have ever eaten. |
