Right, because we're obviously brilliant, we just needed 30 mins playing a gig in Manchester to get another 2! Go fuck yourself pink Floyd. Anyway, any Manchester bound people can witness our amazing beauty on Friday 17th March at the Peer Hat in Manchester. There are 3 bands on, and it's about 6 quid you tight twats, so no excuse. I will be bringing out my black book this time if you don't turn up I saw Bivouac, Shed Seven and Supergrass for £4 in Bedford.

First gig in about 4 or so years later! Really hope the train strike shenanigans are kind to me.

I went to Lizzo at the O2 last night. Travel there and back was a nightmare due to the tube strike. Gig itself was great. I now realise there is a ton of Lizzo content that I don't know. But then, I would say I am the polar opposite of the main demographic in the crowd. The girls next to us were having a blast and knew all the words. She has a great rapport with the crowd - she and her backing singers sang Happy Birthday to a fan in the 'mosh pit', plus she called one out to dance during the finale of About Damn Time. Next up, Wet Leg at the Albert Hall.

Should be going to a gig tonight but I'm having real difficultly getting the motivation to leave the house. More inclined to just stay in and chill out.
I'm fairly comfortable going to gigs by myself but this is one of those times where having friends would help.
Decided to go.
Now I'm tired and waiting for the band to start.
These updates are exciting, eh?

These updates are exciting, eh? I was very close to doing the same last night before the gig I went to. Really pleased I didn't in the end. It would have been a very expensive trip away to spend in a travel lodge but I was pleased I didn't in the end. Good on you for going on your tod.

I've bumped into an old uni friend and her friend and she's hammered.
It appears I'm now going to an 80's club.
Let's roll with it.
I just realised that sounded possibly pervy. I have zero sexual intentions.
And by posting that I may have made a curiosly specific denial.
It's a minefield!

Just got back from W.A.S.P., supported by South of Salem, at Manchester Academy.
Both bands were blimmin’ brilliant.
Nice one.

We played our gig last night in Manchester and it went really well. The other support band (ventrelles) had an awesome guitarist too, and the main band (peacock method) were great. Highly recommended to check them out

Me and the old uni friend ended up sleeping in mulch in the flower beds near the bus stop.
She was frankly absolutely wasted (so was I) and I couldn't leave her.
What a strange night

Slow Readers Club - Manchester Albert Hall Multiple albums in, they feel like a band at the peak of their powers. Their recent hometown gig at the weekend was one of the best I've been to in a long long time. Dark lyrics covering such cheery subjects as the rise of far right nationalism, depression and longing for the afterlife to relive lost love..fused with upbeat and danceable rhythm section.. They create tracks that are almost euphoric live, when in theory should be anything but. Their following are loyal to the point of rabid and are of a slightly let's say older persuasion, which unfortunately might be off-putting to potential younger fans. But I can't recommend them enough. Said song about longing for the afterlife: youtu.be/jkndTjli574

The Inspirals were on fine form. Though I went for a burger and fries beforehand, I will never know. Felt bloated through the entire thing. But it was nice to see so many people turn out. Highlight of the night Commercial Reign. Just amazing. Moo/10

Off to see Bloodywood tonight. Frankly I'm knackered and the weather is discouraging so this had better be worth it.

Henry Rollins tonight. It’ll be the fifth or sixth time I’ve seen him and I bet he has some thoughts about the last few years.
Having to fly solo though as its mid week and cost about £40 so no one else wanted to bite.

Had a lovely time with Uncle Hank tonight. Two and half hours of no pause talking and yelling at least half of which was a single insane story.
Only tiny minus was the merch stand not having his newest book because fuck off am I paying US international shipping prices when his website is restocked.
